Drawings

I have always had a love and interest for realism and I enjoy exploring this especially through portraits of people and animals. To produce these drawings, I mostly use different grades of pencil and a white pen. Although I also enjoy using pastels to give a softer look, which are usually drawn onto toned paper. I have a great fascination with birds and I love drawing them and experimenting with different materials to depict them. My favourite mediums to do so include; coloured pencils, alcohol markers, brush pens and fine liners. I also love creating and designing characters, for which I create individual personal back-stories that are then linked to a wider story. This has been a passion of mine for many years. The process of building up the characters and worlds, then designing and seeing them come to life on the page brings me immense amounts of joy everytime!
